connectMyClub and Our Streets Now share a commitment to making public spaces safer for everyone who exercises in them. Together we've brought specialist Public Sexual Harassment — also known as PSH — education directly to clubs.
Our Streets Now is the national campaign tackling public sexual harassment across the UK.
About Our Streets Now
Our Streets Now (OSN) is a national campaign that has led the fight to make public sexual harassment a specific criminal offence in England and Wales. But legislation is only part of the answer — OSN's education and awareness work helps communities, organisations, and individuals recognise PSH, respond to it, and report it.
Sport is a particularly important area for OSN. Runners, cyclists, swimmers, and other athletes regularly train alone or in small groups in public spaces, which can make them vulnerable. But PSH doesn't only come from strangers — OSN also highlights that harassment can come from within clubs themselves, particularly from coaches at the higher echelons of sport, where power imbalances can go unchallenged. OSN's specialist sport resources and workshops are designed to address both.
What we've done together
Our Streets Now has delivered specialist public sexual harassment workshops for club welfare officers, giving participants the knowledge and confidence to recognise, respond to, and report PSH.
Built for sport
ActiveSafe is connectMyClub's built-in tool for anonymously reporting incidents of public harassment experienced while training. It puts reporting in the hands of every club member, directly within the app they already use.
Anonymous incident reporting, built into the connectMyClub app
Our Streets Now has produced free, sport-specific resources for clubs, coaches, and governing bodies. Whether you want to run your own PSH awareness session or share guidance with your members, their resources are a great place to start.
